Why weren't McCain & Gingrich ever questioned about what Abramnoff said they did?

I just watched the movie Casino Jack & Jack Abramnoff said that McCain took money from tribes & Gingrich did & yet I see they are still walking around like they did nothing. Why are these people always getting away with what they have done? Will karma ever catch up with them as it did with OJ?
