Should i get a better tenor sax?

Hey i play tenor sax and im in the high school marchin band. im pretty good at playin and im definitly not a beginner and i was thinking of getting a better sax because all i hav is a selmer prelude (the beginner one). should i keep this sax or get a better one and wat kind?
