Cremation and what really happens?

The coffin and everything inside it is burned, and any valuable metal material can be reclaimed from the ashes and recycled. Items not inside the coffin such as flowers and other tributes can be returned to family/friends if they wish - or they may ask for these to be disposed of in a certain way - flowers sent to the local church, for example.
