Why are people so infatuated with trying to look younger?

Aging is inevitable you can't reverse it, it's a part of life you have to grow older and while you're getting older you're going to look older. So why are people getting all those kinds of surgeries to make themselves look younger? Most of the time they look better before the surgery!
