Tesla Remaking: Why has no one tried to recreate ALL his inventions patents?

Tesla was a great thinker and a man that was necessary to advance science, but his ideas did not translate well into hardware. Think of the cancer that would be caused by transmitting gigawatts of power by rf energy. These effects were not known in his time. He should not be thought less of because of it. But his ideas are not going to be copied in the near future.
