Just had Root C Treatment...?

The anaesthesia still appears to be there to a small extent, but i'm feeling no pain at all. Is this normal? Should I expect some pain? I've taken two Ibruprofen in anticipation. The tooth also feels gritty and bitty at the bottom, (the tooth which i've had the treatment on) and i'm wondering if this is normal? Shouldn't I have a crown or something? Sorry I might seem over cautious, but i've had so many problems with this tooth I'm terrified lol.
