Break ups, cheating, relationship drama. HELPP!!?

I met this boy and we've been hanging out, he has an ex girlfriend of 3 years. She cheated on him and plays him like a toy, flirting with him and leading him on but yet got with 7 other guys the other night. They've been broken up for almost 2 months ago. He wants to be with me and go out and he says hes done with her completely. We live about 10 mins away from eachother and they live in the same area. She deleted me off facebook and hasnt said anything to me about it. One of her friends tried to hook us up at a concert. This is the first guy I started to have feelings for after my last hard 8 month relationship about 2 months ago. Should i be with him? Im starting to get attached and i want things to work out HELPPPP PLEASE
