the answer to #3 is commonly though to be about 10 years but since i work in an oil field i can tell you that it takes 90 days to go from spud to pop that is negotiations with land owners to the day the well goes to sales, but that would be in an existing oil field, once you get the main oil pipe line in to the area its 90 days but to get the pipe line there it might take a few years because you have to deal with the land owners and all the environmental laws that govern the states ect that it goes though
